KATHARSIS SEFARDICA

Sephardic music as the inspiration for these paintings, is a story of soul and feelings. The big cubes alternating in these pictures are white, black, and red. The black symbolizes suffering, pain, and sorrow. White represents spiritual light replete with optimism. Red is the love we all carry within us.
With grey, I tried to express peace between the various experiences. The keyboard in all images symbolizes life, sadness and joy thru black and white keys in a musical visual explosion of colours. The menorah in each picture lights the way.
